The price of your child's students session may vary depending on the session that you choose. We establish reoccurring weekly sessions to ensure professional growth and academic development in your student is established. There is no contract, so you may cancel at any point.
How soon will tutoring start?
Tutoring can begin as soon as 24 hours after your account is created.
What is the difference between the homework help and note-taking sessions?
This is a great question! These sessions take two different approaches to promoting academic growth.
Our Homework Help Program is designed to help your student build confidence, construct critical thinking skills, become more independent, and understand the importance of time management through the focus of homework completion through individualized one-on-one direct instruction.
Our Note-Taking Program is designed to help your student learn how to create a written, permanent record of critical course information. We zone in on teaching students how to filter important information, how to organize notes in a consumable amount, and how to tap into their active listening skills.
What is the SMORE program?
The SMORE Tutoring Program focuses on five areas of student achievement: Social Emotional Learning, Mathematics, Organization, Responsibility, and Enrichment. Within the context of building trusting relationships, students focus on homework review, critical functioning skills, and developmental experiences that combine learning and reflection. Our Program monitors student progress to promote academic accountability and enhance their confidence, communication, and conflict resolution.
What is the enrichment session?
Our Enrichment session will focus on ensuring our students have sufficient understanding of foundational skills to actively and effectively engage in learning. This includes development of their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through in-depth exploration of different concepts or topics of interest.
